This is an easy 4.5 mile walk, mostly on gravel tracks making it an easy walk all year round and wheelchair and buggy accessible. The walk takes you through an array of woodland habitats, from established pine woodlands to ancient broadleaf trees and working plantations. 
There is no public transport to Fritham but the free car park is very close the The Royal Oak, (SO43 7HJ) One of the oldest pubs in the forest and a great place for refreshments.
