This downloadable walk can be adapted with a shorter 3.75 mile walk which is wheelchair and buggy accessible or a longer 5.75 mile walk. It also offers detours to visit the Knightwood Oak or the reptile centre. It can be walked all year round as it is mostly on gravel inclosure tracks, through beautiful mixed woodland. It is a great walk for spotting deer amongst the trees and fungi in the autumn. You may hear the call of goshawks that reside in these woodlands or take in the scent of the sweet pine smell while taking a moment to look up and 'just be' on the forest bathing bench. There isn't any public transport access to this walk, the nearest village is Lyndhurst which is approximately 2.5 miles away. This walk is easy on mostly flat ground.
