This downloadable walk offers a choice of 3 or 5 mile routes. The shorter route is wheelchair and buggy accessible during drier months and the walk is accessible in all seasons, but wellies will be needed in the wetter weather. This is an easy walk and accessible by public transport. With plenty of places to stop for refreshments in Lyndhurst village before or after your walk. On this walk you can learn more about the ancient tradition of charcoaling and the folklore of the Bisterne Dragon, with a chance of spotting deer and woodland birds and of course the New Forest ponies. This is an easy walk with with a couple of gentle inclines.
