Treading the line between light and dark

Writer: Jen Blaxall.Jen Blaxall.

Gaia balances on the equinox,

And stargazing hares flirtatiously box.

The cacophony of birds awaken the trees,

With ritualistic songs of their season to breed.

We tread the line between light and dark,

As new life's awakened by the alarming skylark.

Ramson-filled woodlands carpet the shades,

In verges and gardens sunny daffodils sway.

Honouring the abundance in dark and light,

Nature provides a lesson in life.

We reflect the balance within our souls,

As the pendulum swings away from the cold.

Eostre arrives with her promiscuous ways,

Preparing for rebirth and warmer days.

Eggs are hatching and bellies are swelling,

As we recognise Ostaras deeper connection.

Take a moment to pause in the balance,

Before your progress becomes more dynamic.

Start to gently lean into the light,

And as does nature, you will bloom when it's right.
