The wonders of winter

A breathtaking morning with brilliant sunshine and a hoar frost.

Ponies basked in the sun to warm up after a chilly night in the forest. Everything shimmered and sparkled in the low sun's reflection,

and as it climbed just above the tree line, the sound of drip, drop, drip from the thawing frost could be heard while I sat on a tree stump, soaking in the sun's warmth in the glade among the trees.

During a quiet moment surrounded by the winter's beauty, I observed a herd of red deer grazing on the peat bog. They followed the patches of sunlight, prompting me to do likewise as I realised I was sitting in the cold shade. I walked with gratitude, appreciating this moment when all the elements harmonised to form a stunning landscape. It was filled with inspiration and joy, reminding me to be thankful for being present and connected to the joy and magic of nature!
