October's Newsletter

The autumn is such a wonderful time to walk in the forest, and although I have reduced the amount of walks, I am now offering them to you for absolutely free! During October we walked at Queens Bower to enjoy the beautiful fungi-filled woods and rutting deer.

We also had the most spectacular clear night for the October full moon walk. Under the hunters supermoon.

During November, we will be walking at the wild and ancient Gritnam wood and take the easy inclosure walk of Anderwood, where we go and visit one of the ancient celebrity oak trees of the forest. Don't hesitate in booking. Now the walks are fewer and free, they are getting booked up even quicker!

So I can still offer walks for free, I launched the Nature and Nurture membership last month for just £8 per month and so far the feedback has been positive! During October, I shared forest folklore, a detailed look at the different species of deer that reside in the forest. A downloadable walk at Puckpits, an audio about what I consider intuition and how it is simply a forgotten animal instinct. A detailed look at the crab apple tree. The history, folklore, uses, identification and a yummy recipe including the apples. A look at the history and celebrations of Samhain and Halloween and I share some animal energy healing exercises for you to try with your pets to relieve the fear of fireworks. This all included 3 simple recipes and a meditation.

If you would like to support my work to make nature and well-being accessible to all, signing up to the membership would be wholeheartedly appreciated, and when you do, you can go back and listen to what you may have missed out on. The membership also includes discounts to workshops and energy healing.

Energy healing

It has been very interesting observing the last month of energy. There has been a pattern of folk doing an utter U-turn in life and although it is causing a huge upheaval and a ripple effect to loved ones, they absolutely know they have to do it. I have been providing support amongst the chaos for these brave folk by offering energy healing, nature therapy and intuitive counselling, and it's an honour to witness people step into their authentic truth with great speed and strength with the right support.

My motivation is to not advise, but to reflect back and hold space to allow participants find their own true path to their healing as there is no 'one size fits all' on any healing journey. At the end of November, I am holding the popular Understanding your own energy field workshop.

Working as an energy practitioner for 20 years I will share some simple exercises to help improve your well-being and start tapping into your intuition by starting to understand your own energy field. We are all healers. We just need a gentle reminder!

On the day, you will discover the ease of re-establishing a connection with your intuition to enhance your spiritual journey. I will simplify the complexities of spiritual language to enable you to access the innate healer within yourself. You will learn how to utilize tools like pendulums for confirmation, empowering you to trust your own energy field and connect with the energies of others for improved relationships and overall well-being. By gaining a deeper comprehension of our energy fields, we can begin to attract abundance and navigate our genuine path.

The energetic pulls have been a little crazy just recently, with what seems more than the average folk become curious about what else is possible? Bizarrely, I turned up in 4 of my clients dreams and another's meditation with gifts, healing and messages all in the space of 3 days. (No wonder I was tired! 😆) But in these heightened energies, anything is possible!!!

Wildlife to look out for during November

The swifts and swallows have left for another year, but the Fieldfares and redwings have arrived, foraging berries on the edge of woodlands and fields.

Foxes are likely to be spotted, not just because the bracken is dying back and the trees are losing their leaves, but it is the time of year that the young dog fox will leave the family and find a territory of its own.

Voles and mice dash out from under hedges for a tasty berry. They are starting to stash for the winter and yew trees and ivy provide them with fruits.

If you are lucky you may witness the mesmerising starling murmeration, and tits and finches start to flock together in woodlands and parks as the food becomes more scarce.

A couple more things......

If you can't make the dates for any of the guided walks, you can now download some walking routes I have created for you. I will continue to add more to the shop for you, as I have nearly 60 to share. But remember, one will be shared with the nature and nurture membership, monthly too. It's worth checking back regularly to the shop as I will also be adding more mini workshops and audios, and I will be adding to the book publications too!

I know it's a bit early, but the C word is getting used more and more. I just wanted to let you know, heading into the last week of November and first week of December, I'll once again be making a limited number of fresh Christmas wreaths and orders are already in for half of them! If you would like one, I will happily deliver to the New Forest area. Get in touch if you would like to pre-order your fresh, handmade wreath for just £30 each.

Thank you as always for taking time to read and your continued support as I was forced to adapt my small business, but I am so pleased you have continued the journey with me.

Warm wishes, Jen x
