October in the New Forest.

Tipping into October, the rutting season is in full swing!! The haunting sound of bucks and stags are a true sign of autumn, along with pannage pigs, fruiting fungi, changing colours and the "yip, yip!" Of the commoners call and thundering hooves of the drifts.

The 1st of October sees the launch of the nature and nurture membership for the price of less than £2 per week, where during the month I will share with you, a more indepth view of the new forest during October with a look at the commoners calendar. A more detailed view of the 5 species of deer that reside here, their behaviours and how to identify them and where to see them. A look at the chosen tree of the month, get a better understanding of its place in the ecosystem, the spiritual symbolism and uses, and folklore connected to it, and a seasonal recipe.

I will also share an audio with you about how to start tapping into your own intuition and discernment, along with how the shifts in nature can reflect in our lives to benefit our wellbeing and share some ritual and meditation ideas for acknowledging Samhain (or Halloween).

You can download a New Forest walking route, get discounts on events and of course, from today all the guided walks I offer are free of charge to everybody.

Be sure to sign up now to receive the free downloadable walk when I post the first blog on October the 1st.

By signing up, you are supporting my vision of making nature and well-being accessible to all for a minimal fee or free of charge. Thank you 🙏
