Let me introduce myself.......

With so many new followers, I thought I should reintroduce myself.

My name is Jen Blaxall, I live in the New Forest with my husband and tame robin Rhod, where my small business New Forest Nature and Nurture has organically evolved from my love of nature.

8 years ago I started this page by writing a wildlife blog and when followers started to ask if I take guided walks, I got brave and said yes!

Over the years, I have loved us sharing my and your knowledge and passion for the forest. I have met some wonderful friends and like-minded folk who share the same passions.

Along with my joy of nature, I found myself sharing my intuitive healing skills. This, as with the guided walks was never within 'the plan.' Intuitive healing, was always a personal journey for me, but in the early days of New Forest Nature and Nurture the guided walks overlapped with my work as a freelance equine groom, and I overheard a horse owner discussing how their horses behaved in a far more engaging and relaxed manner when I was around them, this gave me the confidence to reveal I had quietly been doing intuitive healing with their horse while working with them. That conversation grew with momentum amongst the equine community and suddenly I was an animal healer.

With experience I started to observe that most animals are simply reflecting the emotional behaviour of their owner and my work naturally fell into an intuitive healing business with people too.

My deep connection with nature and the ancient land of the New Forest entwined itself within this work. I recognised when taking my guided walks that people needed a community, they needed a connection to nature that was so lost in busy lives and demands from society, and one of the beautiful thing about the New Forest is that this landscape hasn't changed for hundreds of years. It allows people to feel they really belong amongst the trees and the heaths, they resonate with the history and the folklore experienced and told by their ancestors as it is still ingrained in the trees, the bogs, the wildlife and the people.

I always had a vision to make nature and wildlife accessible to everyone and when Forestry England made their permit fees so expensive it was no longer viable for me to run guided walks as a business, New Forest Nature and Nurture organically evolved again. I still offer guided walk, but now they are free. Along with workshops for spiritual growth and mental and emotional wellness, and intuitive healing which I offer also for free or at a discounted price, but I couldn't continue this work without the support of the monthly membership subscribers. newforestnatureandnurture.com/membership or subscribers to my Facebook page.

So thank you for supporting me to support others. Thank you for loving nature, wildlife, animals and wellness as much as me. Thank you for taking time to read my posts, join my events or making a donation. newforestnatureandnurture.com/events

Through this support, it has given me the space for my offerings to the world to naturally evolve, as I am motivated to help people, nature and wildlife thrive as we all learn and evolve together,

I am grateful to you all for being a cog in the wheel of nature therapy, guided walks, intuitive healing, workshops and talks for the benefit of people, nature, animals and wildlife. You have also inspired my book that I am writing and my published poetry 🙏
