Full abundance and letting go

Now that the Nature and Nurture membership has been launched, I have a little more time to get out and enjoy my favourite season.

To me, this is a unique time, I feel the anticipation of letting go, as nature throws at you all it's shapes, colours and textures, and every day, I see something else in full abundance while something else is letting go.

Today, I sat with a friend, and we observed the ponies in their full abundance, with plenty of fat to get them through the winter.

A foal amused itself, playing and frolicking as his mum quietly wandered into the woodland. When the playful foal realised the disappearance of Mum, he squealed and called. An auntie kept watch over this little lad as he trotted and called across the green, but his mum stayed firmly out of sight. She will be back, but not before we left. The mares are spending time hiding from their youngsters to naturally wean them. It's all another connection to the abundance and letting go of autumn.

The trees are throwing out fruit. Rowan are dripping in berries, oak trees are displaying acorns and chestnuts are weighed heavy with conkers, all at the same time, the autumn breeze showers you in their leaves that also create an abundance of colours. The trees are abundant and letting go.

Curious and bizarre caterpillars in beautiful hairy suits have gorged on plants and searching for places to overwinter in a chrysalis, ready to let go of everything they know and are.

Autumn is not about moving towards the darkness, its about being grateful for your abundance and to shed what is no longer needed, before taking time to ponder in the stillness of winter to emerge with new ideas and growth. 🍂
