Forest blusterings.

After the gale force blusterings of yesterday, the forest was a bit disheveled with fallen foliage and trees that could not take another sway that have sadly crashed to the ground looking exhausted. Through the beaten boughs and cracking of premature fallen acorns, hazelnuts and beech masts under foot on the carpet of fallen leaves and twigs there is a new season erupting!

Fungi is starting to push through the decaying floor flora and the windswept heaths are looking glorious with the pinky/purple heather against the backdrop of green bracken. The landscape constantly changing shape and colour, but one thing always remains...... The beauty of our New forest 🌿 ..
