During February, we walked at Blackwater, amongst the tall trees and at Denny Wood amongst the ancient and wild trees. It has been a joy to get excited about hearing the woodpeckers drum and the song thrushes sing at the cold beginning of the month, to hear a growing momentum of bird chorus and a sighting of my first flowering lesser celandines and and first brimstone butterfly of the year as the sky was filled with the song of the skylark. The shift is happening and the wheel is turning!

During March, we will be walking at Tilery Road and Acres Down, as well as taking a walk in the footsteps of witches and smugglers at Highcliffe as we take a New Forest Coastal walk. You will find the details to the walks on the Events page.
During February, I was very excited to have the opportunity to learn new skills with Crazy Creatures in Minstead. Who offer encounters with Schools, education, animal assisted therapy & wellbeing sessions, VIP close encounters, 1-1 sessions, small groups, workshops & events, but it seemed my new venture with reptiles was short lived when I discovered I had an allergy to our scaly friends!

But I am so pleased Ian and Amy asked me to stay on to help out with the therapies and sessions with the outside animals. The horses are slightly smaller than I am used to, but they are just as much fun.
Find out more here about what this fantastic place offers, including a holiday let, right there on the farm.
Talking of working with local small businesses, I enjoyed celebrating Imbolc with friends at the magical Four Acre Farm during February we were hosted by my two fellow, deep, deep lovers of the land. Kate Forrester, intuitive, no dig, organic food grower and Sammie Longhorn, the Hedgerow Yogi, who explores the magic of nature through foraging.

It was a pleasure to write a folk song for this event, and it was wonderful to hear it come to life with the tune envisioned by Sammie's husband. Looking to warmer days, Kate, Sammie and I, along with Mollie Taylor, are collaborating on a nature-based workshop day in May, we are calling rhythms and roots. I thought I'd mention it as tickets are already selling and spaces are limited. You will find all the details here for a magical day amongst nature at Four Acre Farm.
This month has been marked by intense energies, bringing unresolved issues to light. Throughout energy healing sessions, I've assisted individuals in releasing their fears and letting go of burdens that are no longer necessary. Receiving feedback and knowing that significant changes have occurred for these individuals, leading to new and exciting opportunities, is truly rewarding. It validates the intuitive work I provide and is very heart-warming.

This month, dogs have played a significant role in intuitive healing work, not only as souls needing healing but also actively assisting us. As mentioned, it's been an energetically challenging month with the release of old energies that no longer serve us. We've faced the choice to either let go and make room for new, exciting things or cling to the past. Our pets have been supporting us in making the right decisions, and I am fortunate in my work to encounter many people each month facing similar issues and to observe their animals' reactions. It can be reassuring to know that it's a collective energy, and you're not alone in your struggles or feeling like you're losing your mind. Things are beginning to settle, so take a moment to express gratitude to your pets, who quietly and gently work their magic to ease our journey. We often start the monthly energy flow conversation by discussing the emotional highlights of the previous month, and frequently, people have been experiencing similar challenges.
In March, we will hear the eruption of bird song as nesting season begins. On warmer days, early emerging butterflies may be seen on the wing searching for the first pollen of the season. Please allow your dandelions and celandines to bloom for the benefit of our early rising pollinators. Frogspawn and toad spawn are bubbling in ponds, and brown hares are racing through pastures. Crocuses are flowering, and chiffchaffs begin calling. Nature starts to awaken, so you might spot some basking reptiles on a warm day or bats taking flight at dawn and dusk.

Please be mindful, that March is the beginning of ground nesting season, so please stay on the paths if you are walking along open heathlands to give these vulnerable birds the best chance.
I extend a heartfelt thank you to everyone who commented and sent private messages offering support after my "setting the record straight" post last week on social media. The response was overwhelming, and I truly had no idea that my work, healing, posts, and love for nature impacted so many people.

Your support has been very humbling, and it motivates me to continue my efforts. It has also highlighted my offerings to others, so I would like to welcome new subscribers to the membership, which enables me to assist many people from diverse backgrounds with free or discounted events, workshops, and therapies. Members learnt this month about the wheel of the year, Silver birch, gorse, woodpeckers, the tradition of beating the bounds, how magical our human self is, and enjoyed a free downloadable walk at Minstead, along with an audio to help with sleep, though my experiences and observations as an energy healer and nature therapist, and an Imbolc meditation. Some also took advantage of discounted therapies and events or the 2 free monthly guided walks. This also allows me to pursue the vision of supporting other small, local independent businesses to ensure the New Forest remains a beautiful, supportive, cherished, well-cared-for, and healthy community, away from the negativity often highlighted in the headlines.
Warm wishes, Jen x
