Aprils Newsletter

During April, we have been lucky with the weather and had a walk at Milkham in the sunshine, we dodged the showers at Puckpits and enjoyed a walk of steeped in history and folklore at Breamore. In May, we will start to enjoy some evening pub walks through the summer season, starting with a bluebell walk at Lyndhurst, we will also be walking in the footsteps of smugglers at Burley, and enjoy wildflower hedges and vast views from Clearbury Hillfort.

During May, I will be collaborating with 2 local, small businesses who are motivated to making a difference to peoples lives. I will be hosting the bluebell walk again for Align women's health group. This group is run by Gayle Jordan who runs Align Osteopathy, where you can get far more than an osteopath appointment. Gayle is focused on growing her community based clinic and offers support for the whole family, but specialises in women's health.

Gayle and I are offering this walk for free, to connect like-minded ladies and offer a moment of calm and to catch your breath. You will find the link to the walk and booking information here

At the end of the month, I will be teaming up with Sammie The Hedgerow Yogi and Kate Forrester and Mollie Taylor at Four Acre Farm for a day fully immersive in nature. We all have a very deep love for the land and intend to bring our skills, knowledge and heartfelt passion to this very magical farm to share with you. Kate will share with you her intuitive approach to growing and planting, While Mollie will introduce you to the wildlife who inhabit the farm. Sammie will share her knowledge of folklore and foraging for you to see the magic in the wilds, and I will offer nature therapy and talk you through how to connect to the land energetically. You can find out more and book here It will be a very special day.

The vision for Four Acre Farm was to create a beautiful, wildlife-filled space for the local community who could share knowledge on growing, cooking and wildlife friendly gardening, but it is way beyond this, with regular events held to honour the land.

The intuitive work this month has been testing for me to hold the space, as it seems so powerful with people making what seems from the outside, snap decisions, but actually these ideas and processes have been brewing for a very long time, but suddenly now it seems the time and things are working out for people very quickly, as they step up and the Universe rewards them, the part I have played this month is to hold steady for clients who are going through the process of breaking things down to rebuild and move forward with ease.

I think there will be plenty to discuss at the next energy flow conversation!

During May the hawthorn will come into flower, creating hedges filled with pollinators. New Forest foals will be born, the stallions will be released into the forest on the 11th May, so please take extra precaution around the livestock. The 5th of May is international Dawn Chorus Day and it is worth get up at first light and listening for the eruption of song. Badgers are more active outside of their setts as the weather warms and the cubs are becoming more adventurous. The cuckoos, swallows and swifts are already arriving and bats emerging. The Holly Blue butterflies emerge during May too and the bracken unfurls and early orchids flower.

Thank you to the members of the Nature and Nurture subscription I am able to offer a free space at each of my paid events this month. These include a guided walk at Clearbury Hillfort, and the Energy Flow Conversation, I will also offer a free intuitive healing session for someone in need. If you would like to be considered for any of these freebies, please message me.

I could not do this without the support of the membership subscribers, so thank you for being part of my vision of making wellness accessible to all. In exchange, during May, you will receive a free downloadable New Forest walking route, articles on what to expect during May and the energetics we can reflect into our lives, a spring meditation, a foraged recipe, a look at the folklore, medicinal uses and importance of hawthorn, along with an audio about do you believe in ghosts? The subscribers to the full membership will also be offered 2 free guided walks, one evening bluebell pub walk and the other at smugglers road in Burley, along with discounts to the other paid events.

Thank you for taking the time to read and for supporting my small business,

warm wishes, Jen x
