An exciting new event.....

I am working on an exciting new project behind the scenes. I've been considering ways to connect people to the places they love and live, even if they can't join my guided walks.

Once a month, I will be giving a talk at Ibsley Village Hall about the monthly happenings in the New Forest. We will explore the wildlife, nature, and commoning animals. The discussions will also include history, folklore, and the way nature reflects within us as it seeds, grows, fruits, and decays. I will offer suggestions on what you can discover for yourselves in the forest for those who visit regularly, and what you can find in your garden for those who cannot.

I will use my forest photos, stories, and knowledge to share my experiences and observations, enhancing your connection to this unique, ancient land.

These events are designed with you in mind. You'll have ample opportunity to ask questions and share your experiences while we all enjoy delicious, seasonal treats prepared by my friend Kate Forrester from her organic, no-dig farm, Four Acre Farm, accompanied by tea and coffee. I hope you find this to be a welcoming, leisurely, and inspiring regular gathering.
