A really magical season

Autumn is here in its full glory.

The wood fire smell on the dark evening air and the eerie sound of rutting deer in the dark, misty atmospheric morning.

Pigs snuffling at the acorns and beech nuts with their piglets grunting and squealing in their mockery.

Fungi fruiting bodies are like forest jewels, worn like brooches and rings on trees and the forest floor as they poke through the leafy carpet that mother nature has taken her paint brushes and colour palette to, changing the greens of the summer to autumnal reds, golds and browns.

A really magical season.
